By far and away the most sinister thing about the video is the representation of our curious heroine as nothing more than a delicacy, a sweet meat, if you will, for the pleasure and gluttonous indulgence of all those in attendance. The fact that they cut into her, feeding on the white and blue innocence of the young Alice still sticks in my mind as one of the most graphic, explicit pieces of art to come out of music video culture.
